HERE...WE...GO!!
I am INSANELY happy to share my newest piece! You actually have no idea! I poured my heart (and lack of sleep!) into the model kit, which I entered into the Australian GBWC Championship in 2015.
I sorted through about 10 poses, looking for the right one to draw from. I wanted a pose that might show a bit majestic movement as well as conveying the pure BEAST that this mech it.
So for me, this drawing has been in the making for the past 11 months! Really!
This drawing had a new speed run process than the others, I managed to finished it in under 2 1/2 weeks. Which is a freakin record for me!
I am so happy to see that I was able to get the soft shading, the stark shadows, and to capture the bouncing light on some of the panels and chrome. I could not be happier with this one!
Favourite moment: Doing the cuff on the gun arm. I had no idea if I would be able to pull off the reflections and form. But hot damn, yes it worked!
